This page provides a running list of educational technology and English resources that I use for lesson creation.
Description: Allows you to “hand draw” images and download them to your computer. That way, you can include your own images on a worksheet, collage, class website, etc. (without having to scan something in). Students can use it as well for drawing pictures for their stories, creating visuals of vocabulary words, and add personal details to their electronic projects. I recommend using a mouse for better control of your drawing. No account necessary!
Description: This site is essentially graphic design made easy. It is not specifically for education, but it has so many educational uses. I created my blog header using Canva. You can customize the size of the image that you are creating or you can use one of their presets (ex: A4, poster, card, etc.). You can add images (they have a library full of them or you can upload), text, lines, and a whole host of other elements. The free version probably has all of the bells and whistles you really need. You do need an email to sign up, but they do not send you a ton of annoying emails. This resource is great for students or teachers to use.
